Desciption of the solution: GIS application for displaying information from mobile units based on map using GPS. System consists of three parts:

1. GISmon vehicle - provides a measurement data in mobile unit, acquires the current position from GPS receiver and sent the values using the radio-modem,
2. GISmon server -provides a reception of data from mobile units and save them to database and provides two way communication between mobile units and headquarter,
3. GISmon desktop - provides a visualization of data measured by mobile units, print reports and data export for further processing.

The architecture of the system allows to easily add new types of measurement units and change the way of communication to GSM/GPRS. Used protocol provides, that no data will be lost and that all data will be delivered.
